How Do I Join Hillsdale Baptist Church?

One of the most frequent questions I am asked as a pastor is how to join our church. The process is simple. First, you must be in agreement with our statement of faith. You will find our complete statement of faith linked here. Also, you must be a believer in Jesus Christ. You must believe that he lived a perfect life, that he died on the cross to pay for your sins and that he rose again on the third day. You must believe that he ascended to be with the Father and that one day he will return for his church. Second, you must be received by the congregation. This is usually done by presenting yourself as a candidate for church membership during a regularly scheduled worship service. It is recommended that you meet with the pastor prior to presenting yourself for membership to discuss membership requirements more thoroughly. You may contact the pastor to make an appointment by calling the church office or through the e-mail link here. Finally, you must be baptized by our church or have been baptized by immersion in a church of like faith and order. The scriptures clearly teach that every believer must be part of a local church, and I believe that there is no better congregation to be a part of than Hillsdale Baptist Church!
